- “Better than Google,” at ECLECTICA Magazine. It took me years to find a home for this story, but it’s one of my favorites.
- “Andante,” at Expanded Horizons. The first science fiction story I ever wrote (as an adult, anyway).
- “Birds of the Air,” on Drabblecast. It’s a trip to hear someone else record your work!
- “American Golgotha,” at The Future Fire.
- “Lamp of the Body” at Bewildering Stories.
- “The Fairy Ring” on Podcastle.
- “The Mount Meager Expedition” on Danse Macabre
- “Count Eszterhazy’s Harmonium” on Kaleidotrope.
Some of my favorite stories aren’t on this short list: they appeared in print publications (for example Analog) or in web magazines that have gone defunct. Many of these can be found using a library database like ProQuest.
Just read The Daughters Of John Demetrius and like all the really good short stories I want more of this story. Good work!

Thank you so much, Jule! The story that Analog just picked up for publication, “Proteus,” is a John Demetrius story set a generation or two before “The Daughters of John Demetrius.” I’ll post when it comes out!
