WordPress was kind enough, or wily enough, to include my review of Doctor Faustus in its “Freshly Pressed” program last week. I am grateful for the traffic, which brought over 100 likes to that post–that is to say, over 10% of the total likes my posts have received over the 11 years that I have been posting to this quixotic effort I call a blog. How do I know? Well, WordPress was also kind enough, or wily enough, to award me a “1000 Likes” badge last week. I feel honored and flattered to have been liked one thousand times.
